In 1998, God gave me a vision for Developing People, Inc.  The vision was to restore mankind back to the creator and the original purpose or destiny that God had for their lives.  That sounds simple, right?  Of course it is, when you’re already restored and walking in the destiny of God for your own life.  Well at that point in time I wasn’t.  I was just moving to a new state, away from all of my family and friends, my career as a childcare center director, and uncertain of my future.  The vision had another component, and that was to minister to individuals, body, soul and spirit and to restore them emotionally, physically, socially, and spiritually.  So, I told God, okay I’ll do it, just let me get myself together first and then I’ll fulfill the vision.  What do you suppose the answer was?  That’s right, no!  He said as you’re developing, you are going to develop other people.  So, I began to write the vision and to make it plain, as Habakkuk wrote, ”  And the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision and engrave it so plainly upon tablets that everyone who passes may [be able to] read [it easily and quickly] as he hastens by.
